What Does a Multi-Function Machine Do?

The magnifying lamp is most commonly used during examination, cleansing, and extractions.  The facial steamer, also referred to as a vaporizer, is used after cleansing and analyzing to prepare the skin for treatment.  The warm moist steam helps open the pores.  The rotary brush sloughs dead cells and removes dirt that clings to the surface of the skin.  It is important to brush the skin before commencing treatment. The vacuum system, also referred to as the suction machine, removes embedded dirt,, sedum, and other impurities.  Another benefit is a deep penetrating massage, drawing blood to the surface of the skin, increasing skin metabolism and encouraging the production of collagen. The spray bottle generates a cool refreshing mist to be used throughout the treatment to calm and sooth the skin.  Spray bottles can be filled with distilled water or other water-based toners. The high-frequency is a current characterized by a high rate of oscillation.  This current is thermal (heat producing) and germicidal. The galvanic current is a low level, direct current.  Using polarity, the galvanic current is used to soften grease and sebum deposits and to introduce water soluble treatment porducts into the skin.
